Ainsley broke her arm a few days ago. She was jumping on a trampoline (trying to do a super cool flip). She landed on her arms instead of her feet and broke her funny bone. Her radius, right at the elbow, is bent in a way it shouldn't be bent. The ER put a really good splint on it and made us an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on wednesday. The break REALLY hurt her, for quite a while. It was a good signal to us that it was broken.
She's doing fine now. The wrap they put on her seemed to almost magically remove any pain. She only has a bit of pain at night, most likely because she's settled down and doesn't have anything to do but remember that her arm is broken. She aske me yesterday if we could take the splint off. "My arm is better now", she said. She said it made her arm hot and sweaty.

Awwwwwww
So are they going to set it then? Or do they think the splint is enough? Poor kiddo!!! *hugs*
I'm not sure, it's in a weird spot. My best guess is they'll put a cast on it.
More of the things I have to look forward to. Wonder which limb mine will break first. Hope she's doing better.
