Full Speed Ahead

Kenny and Jared's graduation party is this weekend I've kicked into into full gear and have had the carpets shampooed... the block walls are finished, I've weeded some very neglected areas of the yard and I had my father in law come over and help put up form boards for a concrete patio we're going to pour this week.

I only have a few more things left to do before the party like clean the upstairs and the utility room and pour the concrete slabs. So, I feel like I really accomplished some work this week. I'm exhausted before 10pm but thats how it's supposed to be, right?

I hope the party goes well, I'm having some of my more snooty family members comming and I'm a little nervous. But I don't see them very often so why should I worry.

I'm going to make the satay and some sandwiches. My brother and sister in law are vegan so I'll need to make some vegetarian shishkabobs for them. And I'll probably have some hot dogs on standby for picky children.

The last Camp Fire meeting is tonight. I'm pretty excited to get a little break. Although it's only once everyother week, I am a little tired of having it ontop of gymnastics and yard work. The kids are going to get a ton of patches tonight and a little science lesson with ramps and marbles.
