Left 4 Dead

I'm feeling better about my classes now that I'm in the home stretch. I have an essay due next week, but I'm ahead a bit so we went to a LAN party today sponsored by one of Ken's co-workers. Unfortunately the turn out was very sparse, but we still had a good time. We played Team Fortress 2 most of the day. It was much more enjoyable this year because all you experienced players didn't show up to kick my ass. I think I actually got a chance to figure out how to play the game this time around. My little macbook did a great job with it. It ran fine all day. Left 4 Dead is available next week and we all got to play a demo today. It was fantastic. Zombies coming at us left and right, amazing graphics, and great cooperative play. Killing those zombies was so much fun, I'm sure that Left 4 Dead will be my time sink for next year. We didn't get a chance to play it at PAX, it was at least a 2 hour wait for a 20 minute demo. A friend of mine that played it at PAX said it was way worth the wait and it was the best game at PAX, I have to say that it was pretty awesome, I'm sure (now) that he was right.
