PAX is Soon!
Getting excited... PAX is soon... can't wait to go to Seattle for a weekend of nerdy fun away from the kids. I'm going to completely geek out to Jon Coulton. Can't wait to see all the new game previews. Are there any booths in particular anyone wants me to visit for them? Anyone wanna come with us and party?

A Week and a Day
Hooray, it's almost time to ship the kids off to school. If anything I just crave a schedule. The hours just seem to drift around when we don't have school to keep track of time. I'm always forgetting what day it is and I usually am in some sort of time vortex, causing me to take the kids to the few appoinments they do have, late.
Having stuff to do, like school or work, really makes getting out of bed a lot easier. It's hell dragging ones self out of bed in the morning without a sense of purpose for the day. Recently, I wake up, sit at the computer and just wait 8 hours for Kenny to get home before doing anything, sounds exciting eh? Pretty soon I'll have to plan lunches, help kids with homework and walk the kids home from school. It'll be nice to have the kids back on a schedule too. They, too, don't really know how to keep busy during the summer. If they had free reign over the place, they'd just sit around and eat all day. They can't wait to see all their friends again, and meet their new teachers.
Anyway, just something like 8 days left and I'm sooo happy!
BTW, Chloe has informed me that she wants a Dr. Horrible birthday party with mad scientist activities and cake. Way to be creative girl, that sounds like a fun party!
