I don't know if you can tell by my blog slow down... but work is picking up for me. Last week I had 2 classes, 2 births and a private session. I have 1 more class in January and I was hired yesterday for a birth at the end of the month.
I'm glad that the work has been trickling in, it's nice to be able to ease into things and to have the opportunity to dedicate a lot of time to a few clients.
A fellow Doula, Kristina French and I have started the Mid-Columbia Birth Network, right now we're collecting information and referrals/members for the Network. The first weekend in February we have a booth in the Kids and Babies Expo at the TRAC in Pasco. We have a large amount of stuff to display and I've been sewing up rice bag warmers like crazy for give aways. Kristina is working on the website and I'll be working on a brochure soon. It's so exciting and a bit scary at the same time.
