Eye On The Prize

I have done little else than dig this whole week. Monday I moved 50 loads, tuesday I was feeling ill and only did 45. Yesterday, my friend Matt came over and shoveled (Lori helped shovel a bit later in the afternoon) while I pushed the dirt down the hill in the wheel barrow, we did 82 loads and got two days worth of work done in one day. It's a bit chilly in the mornings so I'm waiting till it warms up enough to go out without a jacket then going out untill the sun goes down. I'm close enough to the end of the hole that I'm thinking about bricks and how many we need and how expensive its going to be and how the hell I'm going to pay for it.

The backyard is the priority right now so it will get the most attention untill it's done or untill it's too hot to really get anything done back there. In my mind, I have grass planted before the end of April. Considering how much work still needs to be done, it will be a miracle if we get the sprinklers in before then. I really would like the grass to be growing while we are in Denver. Grass doesn't grow well in the summer time so I'd like to give it a good start this spring. I've been pretty determined to finish it so far. I've got my eye on the prize!

Thats right, 55 loads! Thats how much dirt I put in the big hole today! I am super woman! My arms have never known such pain, lol!

I'll get a picture up tomorrow before I start the next round of digging.
