Recovering Well

Other than feeling a little groggy all the time (healing the body is tough work it appears) I'm recovering well. I have only been taking Darvocet at night and one Ibruprophen during the day. I'm out of Ibruprophen though, looks like I'll have to just finish off the last of the Darvocet the next few days. I go back for my follow up tomorrow, hopefully he'll give me a good report, and tell me I can eat pizza again really soon! I had about 5 cups of mashed potatoes for dinner last night while everyone ate a yummy, delicious pizza in front of me.

We had a Camp Fire meeting last night too, I'll probably update the blog later today. It was lots of fun.

Have to Blog Now While I'm Not High

The surgery on Friday went well. Exceptionally quick I might add. It took less than 45 minutes, gas, anestesia, removal of 4 wisdom teeth, stitches and then they wheeled me out to the car. I was numb and dopey the rest of the day. I slept through almost all of Friday. I woke up feeling, not so miserable on Saturday. I wasn't too swolen and I could speak fine so I decided to go to Joans party. Kenny drove me over there and parked me on a couch for two hours. I was less than my usually sarcastic self, but I showed up. I've was on Darcovet and Ibruprophen all weekend, they seemed to do a great job with the pain, and there were no unpleasant side effects. I just slept 90% of the weekend away. I'm going to reduce the meds to just ibruprophen most of the time and darvocet at night and when I need it. I like to sleep, but not THAT much. Well I need something right now, so I beter go lay down. See Ya All Later --Erin
