Well this is a relayed story so forgive me if I mess this all up Edna.
Nic and Ainsley spent the afternoon at Edna's house while Chloe and I went shopping for her big camping trip up at Resident Camp Sweyolakan in Northern Idaho.
While there Nic and Edna had a conversation about the new alarm system. Edna made mention that she heard that Nic had been waking up early and going downstairs to play Wii and that he set off an alarm. Nic responded with pure shock, "You heard it [the alarm] all the way over here?!" Edna had to simply say, "well ya, everyone knows about it now. You woke everyone up."

Return of the NightWalker
Nic has been coming downstairs again... but I have suspected that it's more of a 4:30/5 AM thing instead of a midnight thing.
To pro-actively parent our little early bird, we set up a motion alarm in the front room. With a 120dB alarm we were sure to scare the pants of the little guy and help keep him in his room until we got up in the morning.
We were LOUDLY awoken by the alarm at 4:30ish and we came downstairs to see our little marauders reaction. But we couldn't find him right away... we looked downstairs, in his bed and in Chloe's bed. He was hiding under that ugly green chair in our living room. Apparently the alarm frightened him a bit. He came out on his own and held my hand as I walked him to his room. I talked with him about why we got the alarm, and reminded him that he was to stay in his bed until Mommy and Daddy got up.
He was shaken up and shakily said, "You should not buy that [alarm]" I helped him to his bed and then we all went back to sleep. Chloe waited until we got up to leave her room (she heard the alarm earlier in the morning and knew the downstairs was boobie traped). Nic actually slept in later than we did.

The Last Airbender
I just finished watching the last Avatar episode. I have to say, it IS the best epic story ever! What a fantastic ending to an awesome story. **grits teeth** I want you all to see it, so not going to do any spoilers.
Everyone I know likes stories such as LOTR and StarWars... if you like these type of stories you will LOVE Avatar. One of the few animated series with a continuous story line and adventure around every corner.
The world alone captures my attention. A world full of elementalists, Air Benders, Fire Benders, Earth Benders and Water Benders all separated by nations. The Avatar a master of all the elements must maintain balance on the world.
The show starts out with a water tribe girl named Katara, and her brother, Sokka, found the next Avatar frozen in an iceberg in The Southern Water Tribe. They leave The Southern Water Tribe to help the Avatar, a 12 year old boy named Aang, master all of the other elements so he can defeat the Firelord, the ruler of the Fire Nation (which for the past hundred years has been working to control the world). You follow Aang, Katara, and Sokka as they journey through the world making new friends and enemies.
The story and characters are sure to draw you in from the first episode you watch. Avatar is phenominal, I highly recommend watching it.
