Chloe lost her first tooth yesterday. By lost I mean she really lost it. About 30 minutes after we pulled it out she was with us scouring the carpet for the lost tooth. I even went as far as to disassemble the sink workings to make sure it didn't fall down the drain (note to self: pedestal sinks are a big NO, talk about hard to maintenance) We didn't find it and Chloe was distraught. Through her sobs she said something about getting a serger. "Whats a serger?", we asked. "No a SEARCHER", she said. We asked what a searcher was . . .
Searcher: A robot machine that looks for stuff for you.
It was hard to keep back the laugh as we explained that right now a "searcher" doesn't exist. Later she explained to us that she could write the tooth fairy a letter explaining the mishap. She's clever, I have to give her that.
So I helped her write a letter and she put it under her pillow. Chloe informed me this morning that the letter was a success and she had a bright shiney quarter to prove it.
