In my Intro to Art Class we are currently studying sculpture. My assignment for the holiday weekend was to go out into nature and create a sculpture with only natural materials much like pieces by the Artist/Sculptor Andy Goldsworthy. I invited my brother and his wife for company and enlisted the help of Ainsley. We went out to Bateman's Island and at the first fork in the path we created a fairly tall structure out of nothing but sticks. There were quite a few walkers out that passed us during the creative process, all of which had good comments to say about the tower and about how neat it was that we were all working together.
I'd invite you all to go for a walk down there and see it but it is not permanent so with the next wind storm or mob of destructive children it will probably come down. So, instead, I have a video of it and some pictures. Enjoy!
